TACHS Diagnostic Exams
Diagnostic exams are used to baseline a students score and identify areas of strength and weakness. The TACHS diagnostics also serve as a great introduction to the exam, and help familiarize students with the material the test focuses on. All proctored diagnostic and practice exams are given on previously administered TACHS exams (real tests). Test prep programs at Clairmont Advanced require a diagnostic score and analysis.
TACHS Diagnostic and Practice Exams Schedule:
First Saturday, of every month 10:15am
TACHS Test Prep Maintenance and Private Tutoring Sessions
During the days/weeks leading up to the TACHS exam we encourage students to participate in maintenance classes, where each week students come in to review homework from the week before. Students may also schedule private, one-on-one tutoring sessions for Math and ELA topics.
Hear What Our Parents Have To Say:
“Are you considering sending your child to Clairmont Advanced Learning Center but have not decided yet? I can tell you from firsthand experience that if it had not been for Clairmont Advanced and Liz and Marc in particular, my son would not have done as well as he did on the TACHS Exams that he participated in. Liz and Marc supported and encouraged my son every step of the way, which made him more confident in himself and this showed throughout the lessons he participated in at Clairmont Advanced and the scores he attained on the TACHS. My son met weekly with Liz to improve his Mathematics and with Marc to improve his verbiage. They taught him strategies and showed him tips that were very instrumental in preparing him for the TACHS Exam. With the tutelage of Liz and Marc my son attained a TACHS Exam Score of 98 in the NPR and 89 in the PR which resulted in his acceptance to the three high schools he applied to in their Honors Programs and helped in him receiving Scholarships as well. Many thanks to Liz and Marc we could not have done this without the two of you.”
