Experience interactive learning with our exciting games lineup. We create a fun-filled educational environment with games such as Zingo Bingo, Word Search, Catch and Spell, Water Balloon Hot Potato, Word Burglar, and Math Burglar. We keep things lively with Tic Tac Toe Spelling Relay Race, Sight Word Alien Tag, Memory Card Games, and board games designed for learning sight words.

Fun Summer Camp Games

We play math based Ladderball and Cornhole Competitions, stimulate thinking with ‘Mother May I Spell This Word?’ and ‘Sight Word Dominoes’. We also incorporate physical activity into learning through games like Baseball, Kickball, Football, and Volleyball. Our engaging sessions include Sentence Finger Painting, Shaving Cream Writing, Sand Writing, and Math Darts.

Paint, Markers, and More

Our innovative learning approach extends to using tools like Highlighters, Clay Crayons, Gel Crayons, Color Chalk for writing words and sentences. And for some wacky-water fun, we have the Water Balloon Piñata. This is just the tip of the iceberg, we have much more in store for an immersive learning experience!

9:00am-9:30am Free Play & Individual Educational 1:1 Tutoring
9:40am-10:15am Outside Active Reading and Spelling Game: Alien Tag
The Game: Teams of 2 (Aliens & Soldiers). Each round, students take turn being the Aliens and Soldiers. The goal of the game is to try and tag the Aliens as many times as they can, using their left hands! The team with the most Alien tags each round earns 5 tickets; the other team earns 3 tickets for good sportsmanship. Between rounds students race to the board to practice spelling their individual sight words.
10:15am-10:30am: Snack & Storytime
10:30am-11:15am: Outside Game: Math Burglar
The Game: This is our spin of Red Light, Green Light! At each stop, students will be asked to answer a math problem tailored to their level. When they get to the teacher, they get to pick from the prize bag! If they get caught moving it’s back to the beginning line they go!
11:15-12:00pm: Inside/Outside depending on the mid-day weather/temperature, Sight Word Art – Painting Birdhouses
Paint your birdhouse, then write and hide sight words all over the birdhouse. Have a friend find and read your words!

   Ms. Liz, Ms. Yolanda, and the rest of the staff truly have an amazing approach and method of teaching that makes my child look forward to going to both his private tutoring and his reading club.    My son was years below grade level when he began to work with Clairmont about three years ago. He is now performing at just about grade level in all areas and his self- confidence is soaring .    My son is in kindergarten and has been struggling with reading and remembering his sight words so when I saw someone share a Facebook post about Clairmont's 4 day bootcamp over winter break, I called and they immediately scheduled my son for an assessment before the bootcamp. The staff has been phenomenal, patient, kind, and my son has begged to go back each morning this week since starting the bootcamp. I'm so impressed by how much he's learned already and what he tells me during our car rides home that I plan on signing him up for any future classes they have during school breaks. Their learn-by-playing method is so effective and the ticket reward system where kids can cash them in for small toys is incredibly motivating. I plan on telling his school teacher about it when he returns from the holiday break and recommending Clairmont to every parent I know that has a child struggling in school.
