Kindergarten/1st Grade Math Club

At Clairmont Advanced Education Center’s Math Club, kindergarten and first grade learners dive into math with joy and curiosity. They engage in a rich array of games, such as strategic card games, number bowling, and even math kickball, enhancing their skills in the most enjoyable way. As a result, not only does their mathematical understanding deepen, but their self-confidence skyrockets, positively impacting their school performance. Additionally, these fun activities foster teamwork and critical thinking, further enriching their learning experience.

Kindergarten and 1st grade Math Club students team up with our dedicated and experienced educators to develop essential elementary math skills

• Counting Mastery:
  Learn to count from 1-20 and then up to 100, a crucial step in developing a solid foundation for numerical understanding and math fluency.
• Number Recognition and Writing:
  Discover and practice the crucial skills of recognizing and writing numbers, which are fundamental to all future mathematical endeavors.
• Basic Arithmetic Skills:
  Enjoy mastering the basics of adding and subtracting within the range of 0-20, essential for early arithmetic and a strong start in elementary math.
• Making 5’s and 10’s:
  Develop quick mental math strategies by mastering the art of ‘making 5s’ and ‘making 10s,’ which are key to efficient calculation.
• Multiples of 10:
  Explore the concept of adding multiples of 10, an important mathematical building block that prepares students for more complex operations.
• Solving with Missing Numbers:

2nd Grade/3rd Grade Math Club

In Clairmont Advanced Education Center’s Math Club, 2nd and 3rd graders elevate their math abilities through our interactive, multisensory learning experiences. We specifically target the foundational math skills pivotal for their current curriculum and future academic triumphs. Additionally, our activities are designed to build confidence and kindle a passion for math, setting them on a path of success as they transition into more advanced mathematical studies. With each session, 2nd and 3rd graders at Clairmont are transformed into eager mathematicians, ready to explore and conquer new challenges.

Advanced Math Club

For Gifted Young Mathematicians

Dive into a world where numbers come alive and every equation tells a story! This club is tailored for exceptional young minds who have an insatiable curiosity and a passion for numbers. This is a playground for the thrill of solving a challenging problem and the joy of discovering a new mathematical pattern. Engage with peers, take on exciting challenges, and cultivate a genuine appreciation for the beauty of math. Together, we celebrate learning, collaboration, and the joy of discovery. Student Pick-Up and Drop-Off

The student drop-off/pick-up location is at the valet booth entrance in the back of the building.
After 4:15pm pick-up and drop-off is on the third floor.
