Kindergarten/1st Grade Math Club

At Clairmont Advanced Education Center’s Math Club, kindergarten and first grade learners dive into math with joy and curiosity. They engage in a rich array of games, such as strategic card games, number bowling, and even math kickball, enhancing their skills in the most enjoyable way. Advanced Math Club
For Gifted Young Mathematicians
Dive into a world where numbers come alive and every equation tells a story! This club is tailored for exceptional young minds who have an insatiable curiosity and a passion for numbers. This is a playground for the thrill of solving a challenging problem and the joy of discovering a new mathematical pattern. Engage with peers, take on exciting challenges, and cultivate a genuine appreciation for the beauty of math. Together, we celebrate learning, collaboration, and the joy of discovery. 4:00PM-4:20PM: Math Arcade Stations – Active Activity
Choose a game to play for tickets. Options include games like:
-Shut the Box
-Math Dice
-Place value washer toss
-Math dominoes
4:20PM-4:40PM: Math Challenges – Passive Activity
Big Board Sudoku
Who am I Challenges, such as:
-I am twice as many as the legs on a horse; what number am I?
-Make 6 numbers using only 9, 4 and 6
-etc.
4:40PM-5:00PM: Math Skills Drilling Game – Active Activity

-Kids learn that when adding up all your points, its easiest to make 10s first!

The student drop-off/pick-up location is at the valet booth entrance in the back of the building.
After 4:15pm pick-up and drop-off is on the third floor.
