  • Sight Words

  • Lowercase Letter Mastery (through Handwriting Heroes Program)

Homeschool Club Sample Day

10:00AM: Drop-off
10:00AM-10:20AM: Homeroom fun
Free play/a time for students to meet and settle in for the class
10:20AM-10:45AM: Individual 1:1 educational time
Students individually meet with their teacher to work on their specific needs such as reading, spelling, phonemic awareness skills, etc. while free play/social time continues)
10:45AM-11:30AM: Multisensory learning & drilling through a fun active game 
I.e. learning a new reading or spelling rule by practicing in sand or shaving cream, then drilling the concept through a game of Kickball or Basketball (on each students turn, they have to read or spell from their individual set of word cards)
11:30AM-12:00PM: Snack & free play
12:00PM-12:30PM: Math game or activity
I.e. Math Darts – play for prizes while learning and understanding place value
12:30PM-1PM: Reading or spelling game or activity
I.e. Water Balloon Piñata – students read or spell words to earn swings at a water balloon piñata and win prizes
1:00pm: Dismissal/Pick-up

Student Pick-Up and Drop-Off

The student drop-off/pick-up location is at the valet booth entrance in the back of the building.
After 4:15pm pick-up and drop-off is on the third floor.

Class Size

Maximum class size per schedule is 6 students.
